Calls, not dossiers
The product is designed to identify the nature of a call. Carrier, line type, business identity when reliable, and community spam patterns are useful. Home addresses, relatives, ages, and personal email addresses are outside the mission.
Three kinds of information
Telecom records, provider-supplied caller ID, and community claims are labeled separately. They do not deserve equal authority, and the interface should never imply otherwise.
Community gets better over time
Anonymous reports can reveal useful patterns. Our scoring model uses a prior so that one annoyed click does not immediately turn into a high-confidence verdict.
