Small samples need caution
A number with one report should not be labeled with the same confidence as a number with dozens of consistent reports. Our reputation model deliberately shrinks tiny samples toward uncertainty.
Spoofing changes the picture
The number shown on caller ID may be spoofed. A legitimate person's or business's number can appear on a fraudulent call without their involvement.
